On Friday 116 flights were cancelled and over a thousand travelers? plans were disrupted when Lufthansa?s Germanwing pilots took up a six-hour strike. The pilots protested a court ruling that changed the retirement age from 55 to 65. This is the not the first strike over this issue, a previous three-day strike in April cost the airline 60 million euros.
