GM to Boost Plant Investments
General Motors is planning to invest $2 billion in US factories by 2014, and is expected to add 4,000 jobs. The announcement comes after the company has made plans to bring back around 9,000 workers who were laid off. The United Auto Workers has said previously that they would consider agreeing to lower wages in return for investment by the company.
