GM to sideline another 1,900
General Motors announced Monday yet another round of layoffs due to declining sales. The company plans to eliminate an additional 1,900 factory worker jobs on top of the 3,600 cuts announced Friday. While the firm didn't specify which plants would be affected, a spokesperson did confirm the layoffs would affect parts-stamping, engine, and transmission plants in North America. GM's stock hit its lowest level since 1946.
