Goodyear resumes talks with striking workers
Goodyear and the United Steelworkers are back at the bargaining table, resuming the on-again-off-again negotiations that have characterized the strike that began in October. While warm weather has decreased the demand for snow tires, some retailers worry that the dispute, which revolves around health and retirement benefits as well as a proposed plant closing, may undercut their supply as the busy winter months approach.
