Goodyear Sued by French Workers Over Tire Plant Sutdown
Goodyear Tire is being sued by French workers who say that the company violated both French and American law in its move to close a plant in France. The workers say that French laws are designed to protect workers, and that the company illegally interfered with their relationship, violating Ohio law. The company's plan to close the plant, which employs about 1,100 people, caused protests from the workers.
