Google to relax COVID-19 policies and re-open amenities for workers
Google announces that they will be relaxing their COVID-19 related policies and restoring perks back to their offices in preparation for their worker’s hybrid return. Google Real Estate and Workplace Services VP David Radcliffe wrote in an email to Bay Area employees that the company will be reopening their amenities such as restoring full shuttle service, adding more places to eat free meals, and opening all informal spaces such as game rooms, music rooms, fitness centers, and massage chairs. The company will no longer require vaccination as a condition of employment nor require masks or social distancing for their vaccinated employees.
