Governor, Public Workers' Unions Square Off for a Battle Over Clout
Public employees in California are squaring off against governor Schwarzenegger over a measure that would require public unions to annually obtain written permission from each member to use their dues for political donations. Proponents of the initiative hope to put it on the ballot in a possible special election.
