Gravity's $70,000 Basic Wage Success Doesn't Translate Through To The Minimum Wage
Several months ago, the firm Gravity announced that it would implement a $70,000 base wage for all of its employees. The company, which primarily deals with credit card processing was interested in proving that a higher wage could actually increase a firm's profits. As a result of Gravity's wage increase, the company saw the revenue growth rate nearly double. The firm believes that while part of this comes from increased employee productivity, they also saw customer inquiries increase from 30 per month to nearly 2,000.
