Greek unions call general strike against new austerity steps
Greek umbrella labor organizations GSEE and Adedy, represent both public and private unions have jointly called for a general strike on June 15. The strike, which will be the third general strike this year, is in protest of government austerity measures. The unions say that the government is 'selling out' workers and state assets because of the mistakes of others. The government says that the measures are necessary to reduce Greece's debt
