Greek Workers Stage Athens Protest Ahead of Wage Talks
Greek workers protested in Athens against a new round of wage talks. The talks, part of the government's austerity measures, are aimed at cutting private-sector salaries. The GSEE, Greek's private-sector union federation is staging a 24-hour walkout against the talks. The government says that the austerity measure are necessary given the Greek economy and the demands on the country due to international loans.
