Greek Workers Stage Protest As Lawmakers Discuss Fresh Cuts
In the face of more austerity measures, Greek workers protested outside of Parliament. Workers also held a work stoppage earlier in the week, and municipal workers occupied town halls while doctors walked off the job. Part of the austerity measures includes cuts to health care. the reforms are part of a deal that the government made for another loan from international creditors. The government says that the changes are necessary for the economy.
