The Green Party is making a push to change the minimum wage to ? 10 an hour by 2020. The plan includes additional taxes of 1% to 2% on citizens with over ? 3m in assets. Next month, the minimum wage will rise to ? 6.50 an hour for the first time since 2008 for citizens over 21. The gradual wage increase will impact 5.2 million residents.
