Grindr has announced that they are now covering gender reassignment surgery for their workers through enhance health coverage. These enhanced benefits also include “hormone and voice therapy; flight and hotel stays if the surgery is out of town; and any costs for legal documents for employees who change their names as part of their gender transition.” The benefits took effect mid-April for their 150 full-time employees.
