Grocery Union Files Racketeering Suit
The United Food and Commercial Workers union has filed a lawsuit against the store Ralphs, claiming that the company knowingly hired back union workers despite an official lockout. Ralphs, a unit of Kroger Co., locked out union workers in October after the union struck three major grocery chains. A representative from Ralphs denies the charges alleged by the union.
