Hallmark has created a new line of "encouragement" cards, designed for people who have been laid off or are unemployed. Hallmark says that they designed the cards in response to questions from customers about appropriate cards when people are laid off. The company says that people grieve for the loss of jobs as well as other losses. The cards include both funny and sentimental messages.
