Health workers reject pension offer
Britain's Unite union has turned down the government's final pension offer for 100,000 health care workers. The national committee unanimously rejected the offer, and Unite says that it would have led to workers working more and getting less. The British Medical Association, which represents doctors and medical students is surveying its members on their offer, which may lead to a strike. Other unions are also considering offers from the government, and may reject those offers. Around 2 million workers went on strike on November 30, and the government says that it hopes to resolve these disputes.
