Hershey workers vote no on unionization
Workers at a Hershey Co. plant in Virginia have voted against unionizing. One worker said, “forming a union was not about money and benefits but being treated with respect and dignity.” Hershey themselves said that most workers who left their other two unionized plants left for reasons other than pay. They acknowledge that their attendance policy needs some work, and they say a team is looking into their time-off and absence rules.
