Hey, it's a dirty job ...
Companies are trying to come up with ways to recruit workers for ?dirty work.? Dirty jobs often involve physical labor and are low-paying but can also include higher paying positions that carry a social stigma. It is believed that those who work in jobs that are looked down upon by society will be less likely to be happy and take pride in their work. However employers can send positive messages about jobs and create a strong organizational culture to counteract these negative stereotypes.
