Hilton Hotel agrees to pay workers $2.5 million to settle suit
A Los Angeles Hilton Hotel has agreed to pay workers $2.5 million to settle a lawsuit. The lawsuit alleged that the hotel has withheld wages, failed to pay overtime and did not provide breaks to about 1,200 workers. Workers say that they are happy the hotel agreed to settle, and that the settlement is a victory. The union who represents the workers said that they hoped the hotel learned from the lawsuit, and would treat workers fairly in the future.
