Hollywood producers say SAG rejects contract offer
The Screen Actors guild has rejected the Hollywood studios' "final offer," according to the producers. However, the SAG maintains that it is still willing to negotiate, even though the producers' group has stated that the rejected offer would be their last. The union's decision casts a substantial cloud of uncertainty over the contract situation between actors and their studios, with a very real possibility of a labor dispute. The producers' group claims that the union is making unreasonable demands after the two sides met last week.
