Hong Kong Port Workers End 40-Say Strike
Hong Kong port workers will end a 40-day strike after accepting a 9.8% pay increase. Up to 450 workers participated in the strike, asking for the subcontractors who employ them to increase wages by 20%. The strike caused delays in loading and unloading, with many ships being diverted to other ports. The workers said that they were happy with the outcome of the strike.
