The union representing San Francisco hospitality workers achieved several key goals in a contract agreement tentatively reached with 13 hotels late Tuesday. Unite Here Local 2 did not get everything it sought, but it did get provisions it pressed for in health care coverage and future union organizing. Terms of the contract were disclosed at a news conference at Local 2 headquarters in the Tenderloin this morning. The employers said they were also satisfied with the results.
