Hyundai Heavy Industries Faces First Strike in 18 Years
The shipbuilder in South Korea, Hyundai Heavy Industries, will face the first strike in the past 18 years. On Wednesday, 97 percent of the company?s 10,000 employees voted to strike after pay negotiations hit an impasse on September 19th. The union was demanding a 6.5 percent wage increase.
