In Europe, Arguing to Apply Some Stimulus Along With the Austerity
As Europe attempts to rein in debt and recover from the economic crisis, more doubts are surfacing over the straight austerity measures being used. Some are pushing for stimulus plans along with the cuts. At the World Economic Forum, experts are expected to discuss how they can reconcile stimulus measures with the austerity plans that are in place or being implemented. Some point to the United States, which has engaged in more stimulus, and shows signs of a recovery, while Europe looks to enter another recession.
