In Test for Premier, Italians Rally Against Plan to Relax Labor Rules
Over the past several weeks there were demonstrations in various Italian cities including: Rome, Naples, Milan, Pisa and Padua. These protests are in reaction to the news that Italian labor laws will be modified giving employers the right to fire workers more easily. Tens of thousands have participated in these demonstrations by throwing eggs and blocking traffic among other things.
