Leading up to Christmas and the holiday season last year, Royal Mail workers in the UK held various strikes in seek of pay raises to meet the high costs of living. Recently, the CWU, the union that covers many Royal Mail workers, announced plans to strike in February. Negotiations over pay and benefits have continued into the new year without resolution, prompting the union to go on strike again. Royal Mail claims that it has bargained in good faith with CWU and that the union is focused on damaging its business.
