In Writers Strike, Signs of Internal Discontent Over Tactics
Disenchantment is growing among members of the Writers Guild since the union walked away from the bargaining table last month. In addition to mounting financial strain for union members, many writers are questioning union leadership's strategy of boycotting awards and picketing late-night talk shows, fearing that such moves may result in weakening public good will for the writers, and frittering away bargaining leverage.
