Indonesia railway workers to strike over fuel cost
Indonesian workers at the state-owned rail company are planning to strike on December 6. The workers are demanding that the government give the company subsidized fuel. Workers say that the subsidized fuel is necessary to continue providing the services of the rail company. The strike will disrupt train service across the southeast of Indonesia. This strike is the latest in a series of labor disputes in Indonesia, a worry for the government.
