Indonesian copper mine workers protest after killings
On Friday, hundreds of Indonesian mine workers protested after two workers were killed on the road leading to the mine. The killings came a day after two other people were wounded near another mine. The police say that they will increase security in the area. The mine company said that employees were expressing their grief, and that operations were continuing as normal. The mine has faced criticism for its environmental impact and payments to the Indonesian government.
