Injured workers mostly satisfied with treatment
A recent survey seems to indicate that a majority of Californian workers who were hurt on the job in the last year were satisfied with the state's recently overhauled workers' compensation law. While heartening, these results are tempered by the news that over one-fifth of the survey's respondents -- a segment in which minorities were disproportionately represented -- were very unsatisfied with the system, and a majority of health care professionals feel that the quality of care has dropped.
