Iowa workers may pay 20 percent of health care
Iowa's governor said that he his encouraging all state workers to make voluntary payments for health care each month. The governor said that by paying for 20% of their health care, state workers would be helping the tax payers of Iowa. About 88% of state employees do not pay anything towards health insurance premiums. Some praised the governor, while others said that paying towards health care is easier for the governor than for many state employees.
