Issa issues subpoena for documents in government's labor lawsuit against Boeing
Rep. Darrell Issa of California has issued a subpoena for documents in the NLRB's lawsuit against Boeing, Co. This lawsuit has received great criticism from the GOP, mainly that the lawsuit is interfering with Boeing's ability to decide where to do its work. The NLRB claims that Boeing is punishing Washington State workers for past strikes by opening up a new production line in South Carolina, a right-to-work state. In June, Boeing's motion to dismiss the charges was denied by an administrative law judge. President Obama is reluctant to interfere because the case was brought by an independent federal agency.
