Italian unions approve Fiat deal
Italian workers have approved a one-year contract agreement with Fiat. The deal will cover 86,000 workers at 65 different locations. The agreement is the product of long negotiations as the company looked for more flexibility. The company has promised to invest in the Italian plants. Fiom, which represents 13% of the company's Italian workers did not sign the agreement, but will be covered.
