Japan Airlines to Cut 1, 400 More Jobs
Japan's biggest carrier, Japan Airlines Corp, announced that it will cut 1,400 more jobs to remain competitive against regional rivals. The cuts are part of a new three-year restructuring plan that will begin on April 1. The company will also move more maintenance to overseas locations and eliminate directors' retirement bonuses to cut costs.
