Job Hunters Are Vague About Skills
A study of more than 160,000 resumes by ResumeDoctor.com found that nearly half of job hunters were vague about their skills. Applicants often used phrases such as 'team player' or 'problem-solver' without telling a potential employer exactly what their capabilities were. This failure to be specific about skills is often a reason that job candidates do not get hired.
