Job Seekers Form Groups to Promote Selves
Some unemployed workers are beginning to form groups for the purpose of promoting themselves and eventually finding jobs. These groups are run like companies and often use marketing tools such as the creation of Internet sites, press releases, and meetings with business leaders to promote themselves. One of these groups even provides pro-bono work, which allows members to practice their skills and network.
