Jobless Claims in U.S. Fall to Lowest Level in Four Decades
There were 255,000 jobless claims in the third week of July 2015, the lowest since November of 1973. Hiring is also improving, with payrolls increasing and a 7-year unemployment low of 5.3%. The summer’s seasonal swings definitely affect the labor market but economists still claim that these numbers match an improving job market.
