`Jobs that Americans won't do' filled by desperate migrants
Desperate migrant workers often take jobs that few Americans want due to low wages and poor working conditions. With few options, these workers use fake identification documents with fake names to get and keep their jobs and are more willing to be exploited in order to survive. The administration?s recent proposal to replace the nation's current immigration policy with a system in which foreign guest workers would have temporary legal status to work in this country would require employers to prove that no U.S. citizens would take the available opening before they could hire guest workers.
