Judge blocks unpaid leave for unvaccinated workers at U.S. lab
A federal judge has ruled to restrain a laboratory’s decision to place employees who have not met their vaccine mandate on unpaid leave. A U.S. District judge in Knoxville has placed a restraining order on the company preventing them from placing employees on indefinite unpaid leave or firing them as a result of requesting a religious or medical accommodation to their vaccine mandate. The judge will decide by October 29th whether the order will expire or will be kept in place as he investigates the case.
