Justices again consider employment-law cases
The Supreme Court will consider three employment-law cases this year that will effect retaliation cases in the future. The three cases fall under different statutes, but all concern retaliation by employees. The debate over whether the Court is pro-business or pro-worker is flaring up again as the Justices consider the merits of the cases. Many say that in retaliation cases especially, the Court is more likely to rule in favor of the employee. The cases bring up military service issues, liability of the company when employees do something wrong and who is protected from retaliation.
