Kansas and Missouri residents struggle to access unemployment benefits
Approximately 22 million Americans have filed for unemployment benefits over the past few weeks following the coronavirus pandemic which has left many jobless and quarantined at home. Unfortunately, state computer and phone systems have been unable to keep up with increased demand for benefits which has resulted in millions of Americans being unable to file for unemployment. In Kansas and Missouri the quarantine will now go through mid-May, and residents have been unable to file for benefits.
