Kenya Airways shares rise after court bars strike
The Kenya Aviation and Allied Workers Union voted to strike on Wednesday, but a court order blocked the strike this afternoon. The strike was over wages for workers. The union said that they have suspended the strike and will argue their case in court, as well as talk to the company through a mediator. A mediator is scheduled to meet with the airline and union tomorrow.
