L.A. Hotels Request a Labor Mediator
L.A. hotels locked in a labor dispute with employees represented by the union Unite Here, have asked that a mediator be called in. However, both parties must agree to the mediation before the agency will intervene, and a representative for the union said that they will not give consent until a number of outstanding issues are addressed. Bargaining between the two sides has not led to much progress so far.
