L.A. Mayor Garcetti Expected to Announce Plan for $13.25 Minimum Wage
Los Angeles residents are awaiting the announcement of Mayor Garcetti?s plan to raise the minimum wage from the current $9 per hour to $13.25 over the course of the next three years. Along with the raising of the hourly wage comes concern toward how big businesses in the area will respond. As of late there seems to be little backlash, but there are worries that this could cause job cuts and higher employment rates outside of the city of Los Angeles.
