Labor activists picket outsourcing event
A group of labor organizers and workers held a demonstration on Tuesday in front of a hotel where a conference about outsourcing was taking place. Executive interest in outsourcing has been growing and many companies see it as an economic necessity. The practice has drawn heavy criticism from labor activists and displaced workers.
