Labor activists say they've collected enough signatures to put home health workers measure on the ballot
A coalition of Michigan advocates supporting home health care workers say that they have collected enough signatures for a ballot measure in November. The ballot measure would be a vote on whether to amend the state Constitution to regulate safety and training, as well as collective bargaining rights for those workers. Opponents of the measure say that it is an attempt by unions to gain more members, but advocates say that they are trying to improve care for those who need it.
