Labor Board Tells Boeing New Factory Breaks Law
The National Labor Relations Board has filed a complaint against Boeing, seeking to bring production back to facilities in Washington State. The NLRB says that the company's decision to produce its new line in South Carolina rather than Washington was motivated by strikes workers in Washington had participated in. The Board said that though the company has the right to move production for economic reasons, it was not legal for them to move production in retaliation for workers striking. Boeing says that the claim has no merit and that it will contest the NLRB's complaint.
