Labor Board's Critics See a Bias Against Workers
Labor advocates and academic experts have accused the National Labor Relations Board of favoring employers in recent rulings. Some critics have even gone so far as to say that that Board?s hostility toward unions runs counter to the goals of the National Labor Relations Act. Robert J. Battista, the labor board's chairman, denied the existence of any bias against workers and maintained that all decisions were well reasoned and consistent with the act.
