Labor Day marchers rally for higher pay, cheer living-wage proposal
Milwaukee, Wisconsin will introduce legislation to increase wages to a living standard in upcoming months. The Milwaukee County residents celebrated this announcement on Labor Day as Supervisor David Bowen announced the news. The people were dismayed when an attempted ordinance called for Wauwatosa's Innovation Campus Hotel to uptake wages to at least 125% of the poverty-level wages and failed. Defenders of the ordinance argue wages should meet the necessary needs of people.
