Labor Department says Dollar General is risking the safety of their employees
The U.S. Department of Labor has sharply criticized Dollar General for its troubling history with worker safety and claims that the company has been putting it's more than 150,000 workers in harm's way for years. Since 2016, OSHA has proposed more than $3.3 million in penalties for safety violations at Dollar General locations across the country. In June a federal inspection of an Alabama store found several safety violations. On December 8th, OSHA issued $321,827 in fines for the violations and the company has 15 days to comply.
